Mission Statement

Our purpose is to promote the practice and teaching of self-reliance skills in a wilderness environment, herbalism, ancestral skills, and nature connection;  to provide our customers with high quality, durable, field-tested products which support the guiding principles of Bushlore Press llc.; to connect customers with resources allowing the exploration of specialized skills. This is accomplished through; the publication of field guides, workshops and seminars, community outreach, and media presentations.

Eco-Forward

While a large part of our mission is to provide customers with products to keep them safe in the outdoors. We at BushlorePress.com feel a strong duty to preserve the natural areas where we recreate and reduce our impact on the environment. These issues have always been at the heart of BushlorePress.com. We have, therefore, committed ourselves to leadership in the outdoor industry and the community at large, especially with regard to environmental stewardship and improving access for outdoor pursuits.  We use publishing as a platform to educate and encourage all people to get outside, become active, and enjoy our open spaces.  To make a positive impact on the environment, we know we need to share our own love of the outdoors with others. Therefore, most of our sponsorship efforts are aimed at improving access to the backcountry and protection of wilderness areas from development. After all, when people have access to the outdoors, they naturally want to preserve the areas where they recreate.
